This is not your typical cricket tournament. We've designed this event to be an adrenaline-pumping, heart-racing experience from start to finish. With high-energy music, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, and thrilling competitions and challenges, you'll feel like you're at a professional sports match with professional umpires, live scoring, every game will feel like a high-stakes match.

WEEKEND NIGHT CRICKET - TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The real excitement happens on the cricket field. You'll battle it out against other teams in a round-robin league format, followed by the 2 Cup Finals

• During league phase, winning team will get 4 points per match, and 1 bonus point will be awarded if they either restrict the opponent below 50% of their score or chase down the target in less than 50% of allotted overs. Losing team will be awarded 1 Point, if they do not let the opponent get a bonus point
• The top 2 teams will compete for Weekend Warriors Platinum Trophy and 10,000 cash prize and 10,000 rupees worth of Tabro Gift Vouchers (For using Tabro Facilities like Nets, Box Cricket Fields, Beach Volleyball Court and Mini-Soccer Field), and Runners will get 7,000 rupees cash price and 7,000 rupees worth of Tabro Gift Vouchers.  , and the 3rd and 4th placed teams will compete for Weekend Warriors Gold Cup, with winners getting a cash price of 5,000 rupees and 5,000 rupees worth of Tabro Gift Vouchers, runner up's will get 3,000 rupees cash and 3,000 rupees worth of Gift Vouchers. 
• There are cool trophies for Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Star Player of the Tournament award and Tabro Gift Vouchers worth 3,000 rupees.

This fast paced 8-a-side tournament will be held on weekends starting on Friday and ending on Sunday, all the league matches  and Finals will be Night Time matches. The All-Night under the stadium lights is what makes it entertaining!

BOX CRICKET - MATCH FORMAT:  8 Overs, 8 players a side 

BATTING & SCORING RUNS 

• Boundaries: Fours: Straight Fence behind the bowler. Sixes: Same as fours, except the ball should hit the fence directly without bouncing on the floor. 
• Wide & NO Ball rules: One run will be awarded to the batting team for a wide and the ball must be re-bowled. One run will be awarded to the batting team for a no-ball, there will be a free hit for no-balls. Only one ball is allowed over the shoulder of the batsman per over, and any balls bowled over the shoulder after that will be considered a wide and one run will be awarded to the batting team.
• Overthrows to the fence can result in 4's and 6's.
• Byes: Byes are allowed when the ball doesn’t touch any part of the batsman’s body. 
• There are No LBWs and No leg byes are allowed.

BOWLING, FIELDING & GETTING OUT

• Each bowler can bowl max 2 Overs.
• Throw bowling is not allowed. 
• Max 2 fielders are allowed behind the bowler.
• Catches: Direct catches, no rebounds. For roof rebounds, ball in play but not a catch

ADMIN RULES:

• In case of a Tie, Super Over will be played.
• All players are advised to report to the venue 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
• All matches are played on a box cricket field with a lighter leather ball specially made for Box Cricket.
• Each team can register 11 players for the tournament.
• A match will be played with 8 players a side decided and named before the toss.
• All players playing the game must be from the roster of 10 provided at the time of registration for the tournament.
• At least 5 players must be on the field by the scheduled start time. If not, the opposite team will be awarded as winners. 
• Games will be postponed in case of rain.
• Umpire decisions are final & irrevocable.
• Players are requested to come in sportswear. Spiked shoes are not allowed inside the playing area.
• All players are expected to be courteous to each other and with the officials.
• Arguments with umpire can lead to player/team disqualification. This will be strictly followed.
